Fantastic 5 Competition – Terms & Conditions

1. THE PROMOTER

This competition is promoted by The How Is He Podcast, based in Ireland.

2. ELIGIBILITY

  • Open to residents of the Republic of Ireland aged 18 years or over.
  • Employees of The How Is He Podcast and their immediate families are excluded from entry.
  • One entry per person per gameweek.
  • Proof of age and identity may be required.

3. COMPETITION PERIOD

  • The competition runs weekly during the football season.
  • Entries close at 5:00 PM on the Friday before the first scheduled match.
  • Late entries will not be accepted under any circumstances.
  • Entry is free – no purchase necessary.

4. HOW TO ENTER

  • Complete the online entry form at howishe.ie/fantastic-5.
  • Predict the final score for all 5 featured matches.
  • Provide a valid name and email address.
  • All entries must be submitted before the deadline stated in Section 3.
  • Incomplete or illegible entries will be disqualified.

5. HOW TO WIN

  • To win, you must correctly predict the exact final score for all 5 matches.
  • IMPORTANT: Only the result after 90 minutes of play counts. Extra time and penalty shootouts do not count towards the final score for this competition.
  • This is a game of skill requiring football knowledge and judgment.
  • The Promoter’s decision on the final scores is final and binding.

6. THE PRIZE

  • Prize: €500 (five hundred euro) paid in cash.
  • If multiple participants predict all 5 scores correctly, the prize will be divided equally among all winners.
  • If no participant correctly predicts all 5 scores, no prize is awarded for that gameweek.
  • The prize is non-transferable.
  • Winners are responsible for any applicable taxes on the prize.
  • The prize cannot be exchanged, transferred, or redeemed for any other prize.

7. WINNER NOTIFICATION & PRIZE CLAIM

  • The winner will be contacted by email within 7 days of the final game being played.
  • Winners must respond within 30 days of notification, or the prize will be forfeited.
  • Winners must provide valid proof of identity (driver’s license or passport).
  • Prize will be paid via cash within 30 days of verification.
  • Winner’s name may be published on our website and social media channels.

8. POSTPONED OR ABANDONED MATCHES

  • If any of the 5 featured matches is postponed, abandoned, or does not take place for any reason, the entire competition for that gameweek will be declared null and void.
  • All entries will be canceled and no prize will be awarded for that gameweek.
  • The Promoter is not responsible for rescheduled fixtures.

9. DATA PROTECTION & PRIVACY

  • Personal data will only be used for competition administration and winner notification.
  • Data will be processed in accordance with GDPR and Irish data protection laws.

  • Consent to receive marketing communications is optional and separate from competition entry.
  • You may withdraw consent or request data deletion at any time by emailing [email protected].

10. GENERAL CONDITIONS

  • The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the competition at any time due to circumstances beyond reasonable control.
  • The Promoter’s decision on all matters relating to the competition is final and binding.
  • No correspondence will be entered into regarding the competition outcome.
  • The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries lost, delayed, or corrupted.
  • Any attempt to manipulate, interfere with, or undermine the competition will result in disqualification.
  • These terms and conditions are governed by Irish law.
  • Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Irish courts.
